Our client is a renowned German company specializing on high performance and customised applications like rotary unions, slip rings with over 40 years of experience. The application industries are automotive, machinery, packing, oil and gas, energy industry. For their office in Beijing, we are looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

· Provide technical advices and solution according to the requirements of customers

· Take care of the request, make quotations and draft contracts

· Identify technical problems at customers’ site and provide solution and advices, find out customer needs and analyse them in details

· Develop new customers and new market opportunities

· Permanent maintenance and expanding the customer and distribution network, keep good relationship with them

· Systematic research and analysis of market trend and develop the sales strategy accordingly

· Develop and optimize the working process

· Analytical planning of sales activities and solution

· Supporting customers with commissioning process

· Intensive communication with HQ in Germany regarding products requirements

Requirements:

· Bachelor/Master degree in engineering, preferred in electrical or automation engineering, or data transfer system or related industrial fields

· At least two years’ hands-on sales experience with technical intensive products of related industries for complex technical systems

· Extensive experience with industrial customers in China, good negotiation skills

· Capability to identify and handle technical problems, practical orientation and hands-on in solution of technical problems is a plus

· Working experience for international companies, preferably for European companies

· Self motivated, highly customer and result orientated, systematic work, solution oriented, team player

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Fluent in English spoken and written, Chinese in native speaker level
