Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales & Events Specialist to be part of our luxury lifestyle resort in Sotogrande, Cádiz (Spain). 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

•    You will have knowledge of the brand standards, as well as the resort's spaces and services.
•    You will handle all daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.
•    You will provide excellent customer service.
•    Prepare for and participate in inspection visits.
•    Support the Sales & Marketing, F&B, and Reservations departments in administrative requirements, expense management, answering requests, supporting the creation and edition of  proposals, preparing contracts, Banquet Event Orders, help in the coordination of events and controlling invoices.  
•    Understand and identify the requirements of each event and project.
•    Researching suppliers such as caterers, decorators, and musicians, and participate in the selection of the best combination of quality and cost. Respecting all protocols related to all Resort standards.
•    Working with clients to guide them through the details of the event and acting as their personal point of contact throughout the planning process and event.
•    Find solutions for every unforeseen situation or related customer request.
•    Constantly reviews and promotes the image of the department and the brand.
•    Creates menu cards, tasting sheets, posters, folders, and other specific requests.
•    You will strive to improve performance and service, proposing new ideas for decorations and set-ups as well as signage.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE: 

•   First project management experience, and customer service and relationship building skills. 
•    Strong written and verbal communication (in English & Spanish), able to deliver clear, concise information tailored to specific and varied audiences.
•    Extremely well-organized with multi-tasking skills
•    Able to handle stress and remain calm
•    Problem-solving ability
•    Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
•    Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
•    Team player
•    Good time-management and organizational skills
•    Great interpersonal and communication skills
