Here at Siemens Digital Industries Software, we are looking for a Sales Executive to drive our Academic Sales activities in the BENELUX region. As part of the Benelux Sales team, you will aid and facilitate the successful growth of revenue in the assigned markets by developing new opportunities, growing existing customers and working closely together with our partner community in the territory. Your responsibilities Selling and driving adoption of our Xcelerator portfolio into Academic Institutes (WO/HBO/MBO) Building Siemens brand equity and being a meaningful player within the startup arena (often these start from academic campus/background) Maintaining & Developing relationships with Student Teams (like for example InMotion, Solar teams etc.) Maintaining & Developing Relationship with selected Field labs The Sales Executive is selling jointly with our partners and is supporting in lead-development, mentoring on account management, opportunity management and deal closure to meet revenue objectives Takes ownership in developing a joint success plan that drives business in all areas Collaborates in a multi-disciplinary environment with teams like Sales, Portfolio, Channel, Operations, Marketing and of course with our partner community You act professional and successful on every level, from operations up to C-Level Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree At least 5 years of recent experience in selling High Tech products of some type (Strongly prefer enterprise software). Business development acumen and experience selling to Academic environment and C-level” principals in the Small and Mid-Sized Business (SMB) market Strategic planning experience, proactive business skills, financial management skills, and strong collaborative skills Excellent oral/written communication and listening skills Ability to present information, analyses, and recommendations to various levels including executive management Working knowledge of Channel Sales and indirect reseller business model is essential Account selling and management skills with project management experience is preferred Superior organizational and time management skills Energy, curiosity, spirit, and a winning attitude Ability to multitask managing multiple projects and campaigns Experience dealing with cross functional teams Proven negotiation experience and skills will differentiate Fluency in English is required, speaking Dutch & French would be a strong plus We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
