The Sales Team within Siemens Mobility’s Rolling Stock and Customer Service Business Units is responsible for understanding the market in the UK and ensuring we are able to serve those markets with the right products and services to exceed customer requirements and to meet our business objectives for growth, market share and overall business performance. Dealing with customers and other stakeholders and understanding their requirements is our daily business, with the ultimate imperative to provide high quality, compelling and winning proposals/ bids that add value to their businesses. Graduates in the Sales Team will be given the opportunity to experience and be part of the whole breadth of sales activity including business development, bid preparation, marketing, commercial disciplines and customer relationship management, which will include but by no means be limited to: Gaining an understanding of the rail industry and our specific business unit including its goals, vision, services, departments, customers and supply chain Customer service and relationship management Carrying out market research and analysis Supporting winning proposals and writing business critical, tactical and strategic presentations and documentation Gain knowledge around the industry’s commercial, financial and contractual frameworks and develop solutions within that environment Supporting the development of new products and services for the industry Reporting to senior stakeholders in a global company The Candidate We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following: Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:2 minimum in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a Technology based subject You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions What else do I need to know?
