Sales Representative
African Sun Consulting (ASC) is seeking a full-time Sales Representative in China to handle sales and identify business-to-business (B2B) opportunities for our new business venture selling high-quality, organic African forest honey. The individual in this role will be responsible for reaching and engaging with target businesses, such as nationwide grocery store chains, to secure sales and distribution deals. In addition, the Sales Representative will be responsible for staying up-to-date on market trends and competition in the organic honey industry in China, as well as ensuring compliance with food regulations and import requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Reach and engage with target B2B clients, such as grocery store chains, to secure sales and distribution deals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the organic honey industry in China
Meet or exceed sales goals set by the company
Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and food regulations in the organic honey industry in China
Ensure compliance with import requirements and regulations
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience, preferably in the food industry with B2B
Strong knowledge of the Chinese market and B2B sales strategies
Knowledge of food regulations and import requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of the Chinese market and B2B clients' preferences
Fluency in Chinese and English.
