Job Description
1. To fix the salesmen’s annual sales target in cooperation with the Sales Director.
2. To decide on the suitable strategies and measures to meet the annual sales target.
3. To direct and to guide the salesmen by setting targets for the quantity-, quality- and direction of their sales-activities (KPIs).
4. To monitor the salesmen’s progress and performance.
To use the established sales-control tools to review and to guarantee the quality of the sales work (Weekly Plan, Sales-Forecast-Report, automated SAP-Reports, Quarterly Meetings).
5. To give feed-back on the salesmen’s performance.
To suggest and to initiate necessary trainings together with the Sales Director.
6. To regularly reassess selling prices. To achieve the highest possible gross profit by finding the best mix between sales price and corresponding sales turnover.
7. To join the salesmen on business trips (50% of the working time).
8. To be familiar with every salesman’s TOP 5 customers.
To set-up and to maintain own (personal-) relationships with the key personal of these TOP 5 customers.
9. To actively look for new-, future business opportunities and to guide the salesmen towards it.
10. To make contract-, customer- and sales related decisions necessary to conduct the daily sales business. To review-, to comment and to approve the sales team’s ZAKAs within less than 24 hours (excl. weekend) after request.
To answer on simple technical- and commercial questions raised by the team.
