Summary of Job:
The Country Sales Manager leadership position will focus on managing the country (Singapore) Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry sales performance deliverables, to meet or exceed the assigned sales target quarterly and annually. Aside driving Bookings and Revenues conversions, another key performance indicator is on team management and personnel development.
Commercial Responsibilities:
- Develop strong understanding of markets and customers’ needs, pain points, to formulate appropriate commercial and marketing strategies and action plans to take share and expand the overall footprint of CMD product portfolio
- Demonstrate ability to devise tactical plans, mid and long-term strategy to deliver sustainable business growth
- Motivate, drive 4iValues (integrity, intensity, innovation and involvement) among team members, while providing regular feedbacks on development opportunities to promote personnel growth, scalability and aspirations
- Monitor and ensure high level of commercial engagements, through execution of practical trainings and development plans, applicable to both new and existing team members
- Close and regular interface with COE and Service teams to maintain high level of coordination in terms of support requirements, both externally and internally
- Take full ownership on managing the health of sales funnel and pipeline to achieve Bookings and Revenues targets
- Provide routine forecasting and highlight support needed
- May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing a Commercial/Sales team within the analytical instrumentation business, demonstrating incremental and sustainable growth
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, chemistry or related degree
- Strong business acumen, growth mindset, and customer-centric
- Ability to handle/complete multiple tasks, meeting tight deadlines, motivate and drive a sales team to outperform against expectations
- Confident, analytical, avid problem solver
- Exceptional communication, account management, negotiation and planning skills
