Prospect, identify, maintain and develop an effective network of distributors for both industrial and automotive lubricants in APAC, selecting the proper product range for each Country, understanding and anticipating market and distributors needs.
Responsible for commercial activities in APAC, coordinating and cooperating with all department involved, as production, marketing, customer service, administration, financial, technical and logistic. High interaction with Company Head office in Italy
Define price and market strategies, product positioning, in line with the commercial policies of the Company, and ensure application in the distribution network. Monitor performances against plan. Manage credit status in line with Company policies and strategies. Manage and support implementation of marketing propositions and promotions.
Define sales Plans, sales Budgets and sales Forecasts, ensuring effectiveness of the sales.
Make sales presentations and negotiations. Provide commercial training for Distributors.
Close sales agreements in line with Company commercial policies and strategies. Prepare and manage incentive programs for Distributors
Collect information from customers, Distributors and competitors. Setting up databases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above;
- Commercial background gained preferably in Multinational Companies
- minimum 3 years of experience in managing Distributors and Key accounts for chemical or oil products, preferably lubricants, within the APAC region.
- Good sales/marketing/business development skills with knowledge and awareness of the lubricant market environment
- Excellent spoken/written communication skills in English;
- Some knowledge of Italian would be a plus;
- Proactive and self-motivated;
- Result-oriented and able to work under pressure;
- Able to travel away from home to manage customers located in APAC countries
- Attitude for negotiation and customer relationship.
