Job Description

Business Development / Sales Management

  • Reports to Sales Director, works with sales team to establish develop long and short-term sales strategy and conduct implementation to win new accounts and execute business goals in target segments.

  • Identify and follow up business opportunities and potential partnership.

  • Present Experian’s value proposition to customers’ senior executives and C-level executive

  • Consultative selling

  • Understand client initiatives / industry trends and convert into business requirements

  • Work with internal stakeholders and present solution proposal to clients

  • Timely and accurate sales forecast report

  • Build and Maintain a healthy pipeline

  • Assist in proposal development

  • Capability for contract negotiation

  • Present the Experian products/solution proposals and the relevant value propositions

  • Monitor / collect competitor initiatives / plans / approaches

  • Coordinate HK/GC support team to ensure the most effective use of resources

Client Relationships / Account Management

  • Own total responsibility for the client / account

  • Identify, nurture and develop relationship with key and strategic prospects and partners

  • Develop and maintain an account plan for each key client

  • Manage and enhance commercial relationship with clients, and build reference for Experian

  • Establish network with multiple stakeholders within the clients or prospect, and develop access to the senior executives of the organization

  • Develop a clear understanding of the business/ sales opportunity and client requirement, identify new up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, and be able to articulate internally

  • Be able to communicate to client about Experian’s solutions and requirement

  • Establish schedule of regular account reviews with clients

  • Handle Customers’ expectation during the stage of delivery.

  • Ensure client contacts are adequately documented and captured as company knowledge

  • Document a contact report for every significant client interaction


  • 8+ years solution selling experiences focusing in Banking industry/ Financial Sectors

  • Ability to initiate and develop strong working relationships - internal and external

  • Experience in selling business consultancy or analytical services and business software solution

  • Understanding the product of Experian is a plus.

  • Aggressive, Independence, Sales-oriented, personal drive

  • Outgoing and dynamic person with strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong commitment on meeting sales targets and organizational goals

  • Self-discipline, self-motivated & results-oriented

  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills (Cantonese, Mandarin & English)

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or can have substitute experience within the banking or internet finance industry
