Position Purpose & Summary
This position has direct responsibility for growing CIS’s dielectric fluids business in a defined region of China. Responsible for building and maintaining contacts with utility customers, C&I, electrical equipment OEM’s and distributors/agents for the purpose of specifiying and selling Cargill dielectric fluids into electrical equipment.

Principal Accountabilities
1.90%: Business development – Identify and translate customer needs and develop strategy to capture commercial sales of dielectric fluids. Implement specific tactics that will accelerate the adoption of Cargill dielectric fluids to targeted end-user accounts and coordinate execution with OEM customers. Develop strong working relationships with targeted end-users and OEM’s.

2.10%: Market Research/Intelligence – Develop broad and deep understanding of the Chinese dielectric fluids market. Provide market data and intelligence that will improve Cargill’s understanding of the China market. Identify competitive offerings and develop and execute strategies to counter market encroachment.

Qualifications Education, Experience, Skills
1.Minimum Required Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical)
• 8+ years experience in combined technical, marketing and management experience
• Customer Focused with high level of urgency and a proven ability to successfully resolve service and performance issues
• Ability to excel in team environment
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
• Experience in electric utility industry
• Ability to travel up to 70%

2.Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in technical and commercial aspects of dielectric materials markets
• Experience in standards committees such as IEEE, IEE, DL, GB
