Sales Manager

 

A great opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to lead the Sales Function at Hawkwell House hote (to be rebranded as Mercure in due course).

 What you will be doing:

  1. You will manage the sales function at hotel level to maximise revenue for the hotel

  2. You will be involved in the rebranding and positioning of the hotel in the local market

  3. You will work to ensure the financial success of the hotel by initiating, planning, directing and managing the implementation of the sales strategy for the hotels.

  4. You will foster relationships with all key accounts, helping to ensure the hotel is the preferred choice.

  5. You will work in and around Oxford and its surrounding businesses to look for new business, past and present business along with a number of societies and organisations that we assist with entertaining, meetings and overnight accommodation.

Your experience and skills include:

 

Applicants with ideally 3-4 years hotel sales experience preferred, able to illustrate previous successes in a comparable environment.

 

You will have strong commercial and business acumen, and the tenacity to drive the Top Line to exceed targets, and to position the hotel in the market place as the preferred choice in the area.

 

You will be an effective communicator, who is able to develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

 

You must have strong leadership ability, with a hands on approach, leading from the front.
