Eaton’s Aerospace Group is currently seeking a Military Aftermarket Sales Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Oklahoma City location. Relocation assistance will be provided. Position Overview: The Military Aftermarket Sales Manager is accountable for growing aftermarket sales through U.S. Air Force (estimated at $50M annually) primarily at Tinker Air Force Base. This role is responsible for achieving annual orders, sales and growth targets for all Eaton Aerospace Group Divisions and establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers at Tinker Air Force Base within Purchasing, Logistics, Program Offices and Technical functions. Where applicable, at all levels of the DOD, including weapon system sustainment centers, program offices and operational units. The Military Aftermarket Sales Manager will provide the support for sales of existing Eaton products, identify and introduce new/upgraded products and manage platform life cycle management to grow Eaton’s Military aftermarket business. The Military Aftermarket Sales Manager- Air Force, will coordinate actions of the other Military Aftermarket Regional Sales Managers at key Air Force sites in their territories to meet overall Air Force account goals. This role includes advising of opportunities of domestically produced and manufactured Department of Defense platforms at the DOD managed Depots, and co-located Foreign Military Program Offices. In this function you will: Be responsible for interfacing and developing relationships with Purchasing, Logistics, Program Management, and Technical functions at Tinker Air Force base to ensure Eaton meets their present and future needs. Monitor key customer buying indicators including DOD budgets and future weapon system upgrade plans to identify new business opportunities. Coordinate with Engineering, Customer Service and other departments to ensure resources are aligned with aftermarket requirements and growth goals. Achieve and sustain a new opportunity pipeline to ensure a high-quality portfolio of opportunities is available to Eaton Aerospace within the assigned military accounts. Achieve annual order, sales and RMU growth targets for assigned customers. Assure reliability of customer sales tools, accurate data results and sound business decisions. Analyze sales and order data for assigned customers, report and provide commentary on results versus plan, develop action plans to exceed plan. Provide accurate and timely market and competitive intelligence, including pricing and competitive standing, for momentum and new business capture. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of seven (7) years of professional aerospace or military experience. Minimum of two (2) years in a customer support or sales/marketing role. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: MBA from an accredited institution. Prior experience selling directly to U.S. Air Force or another DOD branch. Prior experience in military aircraft operations, maintenance, and logistics.
