As we accelerate our growth in Hong Kong, for our local commercial team we are looking for a dynamic and energetic:
Sales Manager, Retail Intelligence
You will use your knowledge of FMCG products and Nielsen services to listen to, discover and understand client’s needs. From there you will identify sales opportunities and leverage Nielsen’s unique value proposition.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering on revenue goal for your FMCG client portfolio
- Listening to the client’s business questions and turning it into actionable Nielsen solutions.
- Building and maintaining a strong internal network with our other teams and an external one, by identifying key players amongst your client portfolio
- Designing and estimating costs of new Nielsen solutions
- Establishing high standards of client deliverables and drive client satisfaction by providing actionable recommendations during presentation or business reviews
- Leading client meeting and handling sensitive client discussions where necessary
- Developing the business, by identifying and penetrating new areas of growth.
- Confidently negotiating and seeking to drive win-win outcomes within Nielsen and with the client.
- Understanding the decision-making process and influencing key decision-makers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or university degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years’ relevant experience work experience (marketing, research, agency, CPG manufacturer/retailer, etc)
- Minimum knowledge of market research/ market data and/or consumer goods industry
- Experience in B2B Account Management
- Good at relation-building and demonstrate strong communication skills
- Able to demonstrate an ability to identify opportunities of development
- Good organizational skills
- Experience in contracts negotiation is an asset but not a must
- Fluent in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.
