Position Description


Are you an experienced Sales Manager looking to join a global ASX listed organization and take the next step in your career?

As part of our Retail team, your role will be to grow CHEP’s revenue base through targeted initiatives across Retail and FMCG customers, including new platform and new channel applications. Reporting to the Manager, Business Development, South & Central W, this position can be based at our Guangzhou office.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Meet/exceed all agreed upon volume, revenue, dynamic flow and other sales budgets.

  • Prospect, develop and close business at all revenue levels (small, medium and large)

  • Manage relationship with key customers, internal sectors and business partners.

  • Work with Customer Service to monitor and control AR in line with Company's policy.

  • Establish relationships with the prospects/customers, to maximize growth opportunities in new and existing markets and negotiates profitable contracts.

  • Develop agendas, proposals, presentations for customer business proposals and reviews.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • University degree; solid demonstrated B2B sales experience in Logistics, packaging solution or FMCG supply chain environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to explore and develop new business in China.

  • Sales and negotiation experience

  • Front line B2B field sales experience a must, esp. the supply chain and logistics part and FMCG industries

  • Flexible, organized and highly self-motivated

  • Superb communication skills, adept at partnering in multiple levels of the customer organization
