We currently have a vacancy for a Part Time Sales Merchandiser (on a 5-month contract) in the Wellington region to join our Mars family, playing an important role in representing our brands.

 

Please note: You must be available for Night/ Early morning work (outside of store opening hours)

 

Reporting to the Regional Merchandising Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Maximising promotional sales opportunities through the sell-in of secondary sight displays and shelf-presence
• Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Merchandising
• Seeking out and implementing opportunities to enhance brand presence instore, and acting as a custodian of Mars’ brand quality and freshness at point of sale
• Updating and communicating with Line Manager & Territory Business Manager with opportunities and issues for resolution

 

Our preferred candidate will have:

• Demonstrated sales experience
• Strong customer focus & experience in building effective relationships with customers
• Availability for early starts
• Manual handling ability
• Previous merchandising experience in FMCG preferred
• The ability to work autonomously
• Own reliable car and full NZ drivers licence (mileage allowance provided)
• Eligibility to work in NZ
