Job Description

Reports to:Head of Sales

Location:Shanghai


Key Responsibilities & Critical Success Measures

  • Data management. Sales Operations Manager will help Sales leaders to select which data to examine. Will ensure data is clean, accurate, and complete before being rolled-up into reports.
  • Platforms and Systems. Sales organisation’s CRM and other platforms or applications must be integrated, robust, and cost effective. The goal is for these assets to deliver value to the Sales team in a scalable, flexible fashion.
  • Reporting and administration. Establishing efficient processes and accurate reports and dashboards to enable Sales leaders to respond to market challenges and drive revenue growth.
  • Pricing and contracting support. Given the pace of business, it’s imperative that Sales Operations enable the Sales team with high-quality proposals that can be turned around quickly and efficiently. Contracts must be positioned competitively; however, they must also fulfil company and customer objectives and establish mutual value.
  • Analytics and business insight. Intelligent analysis of raw data can be invaluable for sales leaders Examples would be which customers are most receptive to certain products? What are the best practices of top-selling reps in the organization? Analytics from Sales Operations can provide answers to these type of questions and help Sales leaders base decisions on facts, not intuition alone.
  • A&P and Cash efficiency / effectiveness. Identify proven growth drivers and allocate sufficient resources into the right growth drivers through practical measurement and evaluation processes. Robust controls and processes of promotion and discounts will be put into place by Sales Operations Manager to minimize possibility of embezzlement and errors by staff and the trade alike.
  • Demand and sales forecast. Cascade top down sales and profit targets to each region by SKU. Build bottom up monthly sales and profit targets by SKU by region. Track progress on a regular basis to identify risks and opportunities.


Essential
  • Evidence of working accurately with great attention to detail so that data and contracts can be processed quickly and efficiently. Good at clerical skills, together with computing and data entry skills

  • Business Analytics. Experience in identifying and understanding issues, problems and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions

  • Long term / Board perspective. Demonstrate ability in establishing and committing to a long-range course of action to accomplish a long-range goal or vision after analysing factual information and assumptions; taking into consideration resources, constraints, and organizational values.

  • Compelling communication. Clearly and succinctly conveying information and ideas to individuals and groups in a variety of situations; communicating in a focused and compelling way that drives others thoughts and actions.

  • Continuous improvement. Originating action to improve existing processes every day; identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas and implementing solutions.

  • Contribute to managing talent, specifically by creating a learning environment that ensures employees realise their highest potential.
