Sales Operations Manager - Benelux Zone

For a newly created position in our organization we are looking for a Sales Operations Manager. 
The primary function of this role is to enable sales zone profitable organic revenue growth through successful adoption of technology, process & sales strategies that match & support the overall growth goals of the Benelux Zone. You will lead work process improvements to standardise & purify job roles within the Zone, to enable frictionless selling & customer-buying experiences. You will be the ambassador of how our business works and ensure that all functions are aligned to the same outcomes (sales, sales enablement, marketing, customer services, analytics, Business Units, sales support, HR, IT).

The role requires high levels of IT literacy, analytical & strategic thinking capabilities, ability to identify measures & indicators that drive performance improvement, sponsoring the build of relevant analyses / dashboards, and then articulating those insights to the Zone and to govern initiatives to continuously improve our business. You will also be the primary sponsor and adoption driver for standard business cadence, core sales tools (CPQ, Sales Enablement, CRM), strategy development, selling methodologies and sales training.

Your key deliverables:

 

  • Sponsor & govern adoption of core sales technologies e.g. CRM, Sales enablement tools, quotation tools & analytics
  • Coach & drive competency learning to successfully manage the end to end customer journey through our selling cycle to post sales
  • Collaborate with peers and functional stakeholders to guide, shape & enforce learning to uplift talent
  • Own & drive the deployment of our Enhanced Deal Review process so we play where we can win
  • Support the design & implementation of a new onboarding programme to reduces sales ramp-time (time to effective selling)
  • Define and produce metrics and dashboards to support decision making & accelerate competency in data usage
  • Hold regular Sales Operational reviews & hold your peers accountable for identifying opportunities for Continuous Improvement & productivity gains
  • Participate in the wider Eaton Community of Practise to share and learn from others and support the team
  • Work with the wider team to leverage pipeline, marketing campaigns & NPI to improve forecast accuracy to aid effective inventory planning
  • Lead the process & timeline for large deal Terms & Conditions negotiations & approvals
  • Work with functional teams to ensure tenders are both compliant with customer needs & presented at a high/consistent quality
  • Support & accelerate transition to eCommerce (Order Centre & EDI- Electronic Data Interchange)
  • Active participation in design & deployment of our commercial offer (pricing, logistics, returns etc.) & supporting compliance with agreed policies
  • Lead the "master data" quality programme across all platforms / data types
  • Own CRM data quality (leads, pipeline, quota attainment) & sponsor improvements through collaboration with all teams
  • Collaborate with functional teams (HR, Finance, Segment Teams) for territory planning, role design, account planning, customer-ecosystem management & go-to-market strategy, thereafter be the lead for reporting & insight to support improved outcomes
  • Be the leader for improving productivity (sales per person) through organisational design, process improvements, adoption of sales training competencies & elimination/lean of non-value-add activities within the Zone
  • Primary linkage between Business Service Centre & Operating Zones for customer care & Continuous Improvement for order quality (sales giving good orders).  

Qualifications

Are you?

  • Educated at Bachelor's degree in a commercial and / or business administration discipline?
  • Coming with at least 5 years of relevant work experience?
  • Keen on setting things in motion, with a sense of entrepreneurship?
  • Able to analyze well, with a problem-solving ability?
  • Responding quickly and flexible to a changing environment?
  • Inclined to work in an inspiring, decisive and result-oriented way?
  • An enthusiastic profile, who enables you to convince and bind people?
  • Possessing excellent interpersonal communications skills to interact with team members?
  • Advanced level in English and Dutch languages?
  • Possessing a valid driver's license?
