As Business Unit Sales&Operation Planning analyst, you have the opportunity to
Orchestrate integrated Monitoring Analytics (MA) business planning via a mature Sales&Operation Planning (S&OP) process, covering Product Portfolio planning, Demand planning & Supply planning. Besides you drive the interface between MA business and fulfilling organizations (ISC intergraded supply chain (ISC) organization & Markets) with the overall goal to realize sustainable and predictable business growth.
You are responsible to
Facilitate the monthly S&OP process for a category (Patient Monitoring & Services, General Specialty Care) within Business MA,
Plan phasing in / phasing out in close cooperation with BU teams, Markets and Supply planning. The aim is to introduce new products in-time and phase-out products without obsolete finished products and components
Co-develop S&OP processes in Markets with the aim to develop handshaked Market Demand plans, based on Market activities
Develop / consolidate Demand Plans (value and volume) based on statistics and enrich with all relevant input from Markets, Business Unit Marketing, Finance and Supply Planning
Drive Demand Plan gap closing initiatives and develop upside opportunities through scenario planning and risk analysis with regards to revenue, costs (integrated warehouse and distribution), cash (inventory), factory loading and growth margin (IMG) to enable S&OP decision making
Cooperate with Supply Plan to identify any supply constraint and develop gap closing initiatives through scenario planning and risk analysis
Prepare the S&OP deck as well as relevant analysis to maximize business insights and to facilitate decision making
Participate in Category & Business Unit (BU) S&OP, prepare minutes and actions including follow up
Deploy the single agreed plan to all functions
Initiates and participates in BU and supply chain improvement processes
Defines opportunities for improvement driven by operational excellence, customer satisfaction and cost reduction
Back-up the S&OP leader: be able to lead the S&OP meetings (BU and Category level services and MCS)
Able to step into BMC / Factory meetings in case of disruptive events, like delivery or quality issues. Be able to translate this into the KPI impact and steer towards the given direction (i.e.: optimize IGM)
Support decision making on allocation in case of supply constraints.

Philips BU Monitoring & Analytics, which develops and produces patient monitoring systems for a worldwide market. Our products are used in emergency and intensive care, pregnancy and neonatal monitoring, as well as for anesthesia. The Sales & Operational Planning team is a young and vastly dynamic team. In this highly visible role, you will be working as an S&OP analyst of the BU organization, where you will have the opportunity to drive sustainable and predictable business growth and lead initiatives that contribute to the overall business agenda. Besides, it is the interface between business, markets and supply base.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
5+ years of related experience in Sales and Operations Planning and/or Supply Chain Management
An analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to analyze numbers, work with multiple systems and tools, able to see the big picture and visualize in a simple and appealing way
Business understanding to make the translation between business dynamics and data/planning
Demonstrated success in business partnering across organizational boundaries, as well as working in a global organization across various cultures and departments like supply chain and sales
Understanding of the E2E value chain in Philips Integrated Supply Chain a plus
Fluency in English plus at least good or very good German skills
