Position Overview
National Instruments is seeking a dynamic Customer Operations professional that serves as a collaborative partner amongst the APAC Sales account team aligned to specific accounts, industry, or region. This role provides a centralized point of contact to enable Operations support through the entire opportunity management lifecycle to enhance Sales productivity and a positive customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactively collaborate with Sales on opportunities for Operations support driving velocity and removing roadblocks through the entire opportunity lifecycle through fulfillment.
- Drive consistent Operations opportunity engagement process to understand scope of work, resources, and timeline to advance and close the opportunity.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key technical & operational counterparts within accounts.
- Leverage commercial acumen to lead discovery engagements with the customer to capture funding source, procurement and approval process.
- Partner with Deal Desk, Planning, Finance, Trade Compliance to streamline the business close process within the opportunity.
- Leverage technical expertise to complete system configurations and creation of accurate & timely quotations for Sales account managers.
- Partner with global branch counterparts for purchasing and deployment logistics coordination.
- Drive the process of inventory forecasting to our Planning organization with captured forecast, timeline, and deployment location.
- Partner with post sales Customer Support Representative to ensure orders are processed with correct pricing, entitlement, and technical solutions flow through from CRM to ERP for implementation, tracking, and reporting purposes.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in a technical, business or communications field or applicable experience
- Experience supporting a field/inside sales organization including the use of CRM tools and processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent planning, organizational skills, strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills

- Product Lifecycle Management
- Financial & Credit Terms Fundamentals
- Distribution and Logistics – Intl Operations including knowledge of import/export best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales, Business, and Commercial Acumen aligned to industry or regional business expertise
- 3+ years in Sales/Customer Operations experience preferred
- Experience supporting strategic or enterprise key accounts preferred
- Business Level – Product, System, and Platform knowledge
