Objective of job
Responsibility for preparation and execution of the monthly Sales- & Requirements Planning. Preparation of analyses to allow Top Management decisions with regards to sales development & -planning. Information to relevant partners (e.g. HQ, supply chain) about sales development, backgrounds and alignment to match demand (sales request) and supply (production capacities). Assistance in yearly mid-term planning preparation (OP-Planning) in coordination with all related cross-functional business units (e.g. Sales Management, Product Management, F&C) and HQ in Germany. Continuous market assessment and assistance in preparation of proposals to Top Management leading to comprehensive management decisions for the China market. Continously challenging the status-quo in terms of planning processes and offer improvement ideas and concepts to senior management. Lead cross-functional projects (e.g. CBU supply, capacity management)
Main Tasks
1. Monthly sales- & production planning:
- Prepare monthly planning documents (sales, requirement, stock; “Kufri”) for BMBS internal decision making and HQ/BBAC factory information- & steering (e.g. Modelmix, etc.)
- Consolidate the outcome of sales planning meetings (e.g. alignment with Sales) and prepare the decision-making documents for management
- Execute detailed planning in ISP4D after approval from Top Mangement within given timeframe
- Preparation of the monthly Kufri Alignment Meeting (BMBS, HQ, BBAC) and other regular (& ad-hoc) meetings related to the monthly sales planning
2. Project management for cross-functional process improvement.
3. Operative and Strategic Planning:
- Preparation of the yearly operative planning
- Support in adjusting the strategic planning jointly with Product Management
4. Presentation and evaluation of MB sales/ requirements/ production program and stock development for China market for stakeholdes (BMBS-“internal” and DAG-“external”)
5. Preperation of planning related reports for Management:
Presentation files and updates of reports for management usage, such as Kufri report, Kufri presentation, special topics, etc.
6. Constant improvement of planning related processes in alignment with DAG and BMBS internal departments
