Job Description

Role Overview

Regional Sales Planning & Performance Manager will drive our sales coverage and measurements efforts. He/She will own and adapt regional sales information frameworks and analytics to drive the planning and monitoring processes that align our business strategy with our execution. He/She will collaborate with BI analysts and establish partnerships with cross-functional, regional sales teams to understand their needs and leverage insights to:

Drive regional sales process which include:

  • Quota setting and attainment
  • Quarterly forecasts
  • End of quarter sales cadence
  • Sales planning and hiring decisions.

Lead and partner with sales leaders to define regional sales coverage strategy and implementation.

Work with Sales & Mktg Directors to understand key market segments in region.

Identify sales key performance metrics and sales effectiveness tracking methods which may include:

  • Pipeline monitoring and measuring
  • Opportunity win/loss analysis and sales cycles
  • Risk to quota attainment
  • Insights to support sales coaching.

Analyze performance metrics data and report effectiveness of individuals, teams and region in the form of:

  • Scorecards, dashboards, reports and insights.

Partner with Business Intelligence teams to champion regional needs and improvements for dashboards, insights, and datasets.

Act as a liaison/partner between the Sales Team and other internal customers.


Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business management or related area from an accredited university. Masters preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales operations, analytics and reporting; sales management experience a plus.
  • Proven financial and management skills, and experience managing metrics-oriented performance objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, problem solving skills, and strong process orientation.
  • Knowledgeable of common sales, marketing and operational metrics used in industry.
  • Experience with BI visualization tools and other software such as Microsoft Excel to transform data into insight. Tableau experience a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results effectively and efficiently to a variety of customers.
