 Our Clinical Diagnostic Division is looking for its new Sales Projects Leader M/F.

The Sales Projects leader will handle projects, day to day alignment with business leaders and communication as well as acting on behalf of the Commercial director. The Sales project leader will act as a project manager and adviser to the Commercial Director and serve as a member of the GSM Leadership EU Team.

The collaboration will go across all commercial teams in GSM EMEA, all functions related to GSM, and coordinating all management efforts for between GSM EU and CDD.

Potential sites and locations:
France – Paris Region (primary location) / UK – London Region / Spain – Madrid or Barcelona Region / Germany – Hennigsdorf, Frankfurt Region / Sweden - Uppsala / Denmark / Benelux

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Project Management tasks

  • Coordinating execution and report out of sales projects for EU and EEMEA
  • Support Commercial director to consolidate project results and communicate accordingly to the organization.
  • lead projects on PPI process and on Kaizen projects or act on behalf of the VP GSM
  • suggest and participate in PPI initiatives to identify improvements and cost savings to the business
  • Manage end-to-end change projects

- Managerial tasks: 

  • work closely with Global Sales & Marketing LT to drive the execution of strategy and tactics to achieve the business objectives
  • participate in regular meetings with the leadership in MBR’s and QBR’s Sub-regions
  • act as a strategist and consultant to ensure streamlined activities across the function
  • implement a proper communication to the GSM organization, to CDD LT and employees in the Business Units
  • assisting and collaborating with Global Marketing LT and the commercial leaders to coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with Global Marketing and the Commercial leaders.
  • develop and implement a proper communication strategy to effectively communicate across the organization, to customers and major stakeholders by implementing an effective digital communication

- Administrative and VP Support tasks:

  • determine proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individuals to manage,
  • ensure all team issues are addressed properly, efficiently and judiciously and keep track of progress until resolved.
  • writing first drafts of proposals, emails, letters
  • prepare presentations in PowerPoint to support projects and executions
  • take actions to follow up key points after meetings

- Reporting tasks:

  • collaborate with GSM Finance in a joint responsibility for the MBR/QBR reporting
  • collaborate with the GSM Finance in a joint responsibility to manage GSM forecasting & AOP process

- In general: 

  • work alongside CDD colleagues to foster a strong and mutually beneficial relationship and effective collaboration across the division and the group
  • build up strong relations to the Commercial and the Marketing leaders in GSM
  • build a strong brand identity for GSM

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • University Degree in life sciences, business administration or similar. A master’s degree or MBA in a relevant field of business, strategy, and/or a related field might be an asset.
  • English: Full professional proficiency with additional languages an advantage (like German or French)
  • Minimum of 3 years Life Sciences, Analytical Instrument and Diagnostics industry experience in general
  • experience and proven track record in marketing and sales as well as project steering and change management on a multinational level
  • good organizational/teamwork skills with collaboration with members of the leadership team, their teams, and other BUs
  • proven experience with driving projects in highly matrixed organizations
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • strong strategic planning & analytical skills,
  • proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must, SFDC, SIMAPP is a plus
  • interpersonal and diplomatic skills to disarm and build productive working relationships within a multi-stakeholder environment in order to drive execution
  • Ability to drive change with agility and energy that naturally brings people to their point of view.
