Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION This position will provide reporting and analysis activities to support growth initiatives and strategies across sales and marketing channels and ensure that appropriate metrics are in place by evaluating customer, pricing, and market information. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide sales reporting/analysis support for sales and marketing teams using all available sources of information (internal, external, and competitive data) Prepare monthly report updates that support month-end close activities Prepare monthly Agent reports and scorecards Develop / generate monthly sales & analysis reports for the Bussmann Electrical businesses to measure YTD performance metrics against targets Maintain and distribute daily bookings and shipments reports Develop a product knowledge and competency of Bussmann products Support initiatives to drive towards ‘self-service’ reporting models including the implementation of PowerBI reports Assist in driving improvements in existing reporting processes, tools, and procedures that will result in increased automation, improvement in data accuracy, data analysis and timeliness Assist in the testing and implementation of reporting and SAP enhancements to support business requirements Prepare and maintain guidelines / reporting to support bi-annual returns Develop and maintain standard work procedures Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. 2+ years of experience in data analytics or finance. Preferred Qualifications Strong computer skills with Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, with an intermediate to advanced skill level in MS Excel including Macros, V-Look-Ups, Pivot Tables, and Templates . Ability to understand data, identify risks, develop recommendations and implement solutions Experience with SAP and Business warehouse reporting tool Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external constituencies Strong independent decision-making, problem-solving skills. Detail oriented, well organized, and must work well in both a team and individual environment. Effective organizational and communication skills (written and verbal). .
