Eaton’s Life Safety Division is currently seeking a Sales Representative supporting Fire Safety, Life Safety products to join our team. This position is based at our Mississauga, ON location.

Eaton’s solutions include SAFEPATH voice evacuation systems and Wheelock notification appliances. The Canadian & International Sales Representative is responsible for managing existing customers while focusing on developing and closing new business opportunities within key sophisticated vertical markets.

In this function you will:
- Provide support to the Sales Manager in the field, supporting both customers and intercompany sales
- Develop new relationships that will impact growth within targeted areas.
- Manage and coordinate the distributor & integrator network already established
- Aggressively manage and track business opportunity pipeline
- Support all technical sales activity in Canada & International markets (excluding USA)
- Provide accurate and detailed sales-based reports to Sales Manager
- Maintain a CRM System & provide accurate forecasts to Sales Manager
- Support other business development initiatives as needed.
- Promote the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.
- Implement short, medium and long-term strategic and tactical plans that promote the SAFPATH voice solutions

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Fire and Life Safety systems products and/or services, focused in the commercial, institutional, and/or industrial market space
- Must possess and maintain a valid & unrestricted driver’s license
- Ability to travel internationally
- Must live within 80 km of Mississauga, ON
Preferred qualifications:
- Successful track record of building lasting relationships with distributors, end users, Intercompany leaders and sales teams
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Possess strong project and program management skills demonstrating attention to detail
- Strive for excellence in customer service and sales performance
- Self-motivated needing little daily supervision to outperform expectations
- Work closely with all areas of Eaton’s ELS customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Effective management of a counter style distributors
- Great communication skills
