SALES REPRESENTATIVE- GROUP DATABASE PROSPECTING

This position is an temporary hourly position, with initial commitment of 30 hours a week through the end of 2022 to be re-evaluated for temporary extension or potentially become a full time as of 2023 if success of role warrants

Positions Reports to Director of Sales

Position may work remote, with laptop provided and cell phone expense reimbursement as outlined in resort policy

Position Overview:

As a specialized sales representative for our resort during our expansion pre-sell phase, this position will be asked to utilize resort group database and third party group databases made available (including but not limited to Knowland Group, CVENT and OTA Insights) to research, identify target accounts and qualify potential interest to deliver warm leads to our sales managers.   

Your responsibilities will include data analytics, internet and phone research with both written and phone communication with identified target customers.  

Candidate will reflect brand and AAA five diamond standards in all guest communication.

Key job responsibilities:
 

  • Mine databases (Knowland, CVENT, Opera, OTA Insights) to identify weekly list of target accounts that meets DOS targeted season or industry type assignment for research and qualification
  • Submit weekly target account list on each week for review and approval by DOS
  • Research and verify appropriate contacts for target accounts utilizing databases, Linked In, organization websites and assure account profile built and contacts are updated in Opera system.
  • Develop e-mail introductions and sales solicitation letters from samples provided to you by DOS to initiate solicitation and begin qualification process
  • Trace all communication for appropriate follow up, including email, phone or turnover to sales manager for appropriate follow-up.
  • Manage and maintain a robust group of prospects, in different stages of qualifications to maintain a clean funnel.
  • Communicate all leads identified to DOS in weekly report
  • Turnover leads to appropriate sales managers with a recap of account profile, booking lead targeted, account contact information level of interest by client and appropriate booking window for their introduction and follow-up.
  • Thank account for time and introduce them to sales manager that will be following up on booking potential

 

Remote Position Requirements:

Daily contact with DOS with activities loaded in Opera and report submitted to DOS at  conclusion of the shift.

50 of target account identified per week

150 of key account contacts identified per week
