Eaton is currently seeking a Sales Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Montreal, Quebec location. Position Overview: The IT Channel Sales Representative will be responsible for sales of Eaton - Critical Power & Digital infrastructure solutions through a two-tier channel model in Quebec and Atlantic Canada. This individual must have the ability to manage channel/partner accounts with a proven track record in revenue growth, market development and demand generation within the Canadian IT Channel and Canadian IT Enterprise Markets. In this function you will: Develop and execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements. Implement strategic plan to grow business in alignment to Eaton goals. Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist channel partners in promoting sales with advice on sales and promotion techniques and campaigns. Organize regular training/promotional events for channel partners. Develop relationships and work with the outside sales reps at all the branch locations to identify opportunities and perform joint sales calls to close opportunities. Build relationships with key customers and partners in the assigned region to help gain market share. Represent Eaton at trade shows and events to further help position and develop the Eaton products and brands. Prepare sales proposals based on customer needs and expectations. Demonstrate superior selling skills under a variety of challenging circumstances. Manage pipeline and maintain a high standard of data quality on opportunities and closed business. Provide feedback on competitor programs, pricing and product assortments. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: University degree or college diploma completed from an accredited institution. Minimum 3 years of experience working in the IT channel in a field sales, marketing or channel management role. Bilingual in French & English. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future. No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 80 km of Montreal, ON to be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in the IT channel in the Quebec region. Experience working with Power Quality (UPS) and Power Distribution products. Position Criteria: Must be able to travel up to 25% within assigned region, as well as within Canada. Demonstrated ability to identify, recruit, train, and motivate channel partners. Proven sales experience with strong leadership skills, management and customer focus. Technical aptitude or a willingness to learn technical aspects of the broader Eaton family of products.
