Job Title: Sales Representative, First Responder– Tampa, FL

The First Responder Sales Representative sell Fisher Safety products and services by interacting with established customers and developing new business opportunities. They also support sales management plans by maintaining effective customer relations and assuring continued market penetration and profitability by making in-depth calls to end users to achieve sales objectives, implementing customer-specific action plans, working with purchasing and safety management to perform hazard assessments, making product recommendations, providing product training with regard to occupational health and safety equipment, and resolving customer service-related issues (i.e. pricing and product availability). The Sales Representative also introduces new products and services to the accounts, develops new customers, and performs other task.
Remotely based in or near Tampa, FL.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory
• 3+ years of outside sales experience
• Previous Safety Product Sales and/or Government Selling with contracts experience
• US Military Service preferred
• Distribution Selling Experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Time and territory management skills
• Candidates must be able to think creatively and develop new ideas, products, solutions, etc.
• Ability to make and implement decisions consistent with organizational goals and to interpret measurement systems and report quantitative data is also required
• Candidate must be computer literate
• Candidate must be able to travel 15% of the time overnight
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. of equipment
