Job Description
Sales Specialist has the primary responsibility of driving profitable growth within focus on the protein market. Responsibilities Tasks • Set up and support to drive volume growth and market penetration • Definition and implementation of marketing concepts to drive development and expansion of sales • Customer related analysis of market and competition ( e.g. CRM analysis), creation of customer profiles • Conception, planning and accompaniment/implementation of acquisition support measures (e.g. industry trade fairs, customer events, presentations, visits) • Total availability (~70% of time) for local and global travel Technological Expertise in F&B domain knowledge • Process Know How, Basis KPIs for Protein Industry areas, Quality, market understanding, competitor analysis • Technological basis competence in segment specific production processes • General knowledge of special process parts Technical Know How • Solution approach based on Siemens portfolio general knowledge of functionalities such as step chains, interlocking, control, visualization, process data visualization • Technical knowledge about Systems (e.g. TIA Portal, WinCC, MES/MOM, Edge, Mindsphere etc.) • Knowledge in LV, MV and Energy Automation desirable Sales characteristics and capabilities • Self-motivated orchestrator, customer oriented, convincing, integrating, diplomatic, team player, exude confidence • Profund sales capabilities like market and competitor analysis, acquisition, and negotiation skills, contracting, solution sales, organizational skills • Self-motivation, team play, moderation, target orientation, strategic thinking • Advanced level in English, Spanish is a plus • Brazilian Portuguese Mandatory Characteristics of role ▪ Interacts with key stakeholders, customer and ecosystem (Engineering, OEMs, SoP, Installers) building a Win-to-Win relationship (e.g Unique Value Proposition, Add Value), highlighting Siemens as a preferred player ▪ Knows the detailed requirements based on deep knowledge on customer processes, capex/opex goals, and associated Siemens solutions/applications for F&B Market ▪ Understands F&B Industry challenges/opportunities through looking at the bigger context ▪ Considers innovation & digitalization, and cross selling solutions within ecosystem as offers to the customers ▪ Strategically directs the organization for the best (ie.g. cost-effective) solution for the customer – direct and indirect business ▪ Knows how to bring practical ideas to the table when discussing with the customer ▪ Partner/Target customer visits and value-based presentations incl. required presales support ▪ Drive target customers/ partners to participate in Events in collaboration with F&B HQ ▪ Review regularly pipeline with the team ▪ Create and present Business Cases to Siemens Regions ▪ Synchronize and collaborate with the international F&B organization in order to implement the defined strategies on the international customers ▪ Incorporating learning into everyday life, demonstrating a willingness to learn and eagerness to acquire new knowledge, constantly seeking out new challenges which help one learn and grow, and openness to new ideas and actively using the knowledge provided both within and outside of Siemens.
