Working from home, the Geared Motors (GM) Sales Specialist will be part of the UK Geared Motors & Motion Control (MC) Sales Team, responsible for proactively managing and developing Siemens’ growing Geared Motor business across a postcode region. The role involves a high level of collaboration and business development within new and existing external customer groups OEM’s, End Users, via various sales channels including Siemens’ distribution network. The role also includes promotion and technical support for Geared Motors to Siemens internal, regional and vertical sales teams. Reporting directly to the OEM & Discrete Materials Handling Sales Manager, with close collaboration with the Geared Motors Business Unit, it’s strategy and the back-office support network. Maintain and build successful internal and external customer relationships to support long term growth and increase monthly run rate orders. Develop and implement regional growth strategy for geared motors, working across a varied customer base within your geographic region. You will identify new opportunities for growth using TIA and IDS as sales levers. Proactively support Siemens Accounts Managers and the wider Sales Teams to drive and win business within OEMs, End Users and Siemens Partner Network. Accurate and timely recording and capture of all customer data within the customer relationship tool (CRM). Logging and maintaining opportunities in the CRM tool (‘keep it real’), to ensure the GM business unit can achieve forecast accuracy for HQ reporting. Use of the ROI tool to challenge customer thinking and drive innovative sales. Accurate and effective calendar management, visits to be forward booked with times and blocked out administration days. Sync of CRM and Outlook calendars, so customers internally and externally can understand availability. Support and champion product launches, customers training and working with business management and the wider sales force. Operate efficiently and flexibly within the company's sales strategy and guidelines, observing and adhering to all business compliance requirements, Health, Safety and Environment in line with Company policies and procedures. Use your skills to move the world forward. Field sales experience, an individual who will have progressed in sales and be experienced in building relationships and identifying the differentiators that create a business case within potential clients. Determined, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed. A sales professional with proven technical ability to achieve sales targets. Able to work under pressure and to work on your own initiative. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization. Capable of utilising value services, finance and technological advances in product to secure customer and/or supply chain lock in. Flexibility to travel in UK (and occasionally overseas), as well as work from home. Valid passport and driving licence. We’ve got quite a lot to offer. How about you?
