Join our Digital Industries Division as a Low Voltage Engineered Drives Sales Specialist and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow. Working as part of the General Motion Control (GMC) team you will be responsible for selling our range of Engineered Drives to End Users, OEM’s, System Integrators and gaining specification with EPC’s. This position is focussed on our Engineered Drives portfolio. Whilst this role is heavily focussed on sales, we are also looking for an individual who has the required set of skills to support and prepare bids as required. This role is ideally suited to an individual who thrives on working as an entrepreneur, and who has a proven track record of developing revenue in new markets. Development, Identification, and ownership of sector specific Variable Speed Drive sales into the Process, Pump, Fan, Marine, Energy Management and Compressor market across the United Kingdom, implementing your strategy to deliver significant growth. Ownership of the pipeline, revenue for nominated segments. Working innovatively, develop End User opportunities, and gain specification for this range of products within OEM’s and System Integrators. Resulting in significant growth and increase of market share. Working closely with the Siemens Vertical teams, identify and exploit opportunities within vertical sectors and the wider supply chain. Maintain and develop close working relationship with Headquarters. Identify new market opportunities and customers. Identify channels to achieve the required market growth targets. Use your skills to move the world forward. HNC / Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related subject Highly competent sales related experience Significant sales and marketing or business management experience within the Variable Speed Drives market. Low voltage industrial drive systems knowledge within the Marine, Vehicle Test Bed, Energy Management, Pump, Fan Compressor market. Determined, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed. Sound track record of developing successful customer relationships at all levels. Excellent communicator and listener. Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise and manage your own time effectively to achieve targets. Excellent co-ordination, influencing and facilitator skills. Excellent presentation, analytical and business skills. Capable of utilising value services, finance and technological advances in product to secure vendor lock in. Strong team player with good interpersonal skills. We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
