The Territory Sales Specialist III is part of the Laboratory Products Division (LPD) which unites deep scientific expertise, a collaborative culture and rich resources to deliver the lab equipment and consumables that our customers need to achieve their scientific goals – quickly, reliably and safely. Our smart lab solutions make it faster and easier for our customers to focus on what matters most – delivering answers and innovations that save and improve lives.

How will you make an impact?

  • Drive revenue growth for the storage and tracking product segment that has a higher than average market potential in an assigned geographic territory
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the business unit and commercial teams in order to best position the future vitality of the storage and portfolio.
  • Act as a liaison between the Business Units and the field selling team. Communicate new and pertinent information and updates from the business unit to the field selling team (new products, features, differentiators, competitive information, etc.).

What will you do?

  • Provide field demonstration, sales and training support on current and future storage and tracking products.
  • Conduct technical seminars on a regular basis.
  • Develop business plans in order to achieve required sales growth.
  • The products included in this role that you will sell, are the full line of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Cold Storage portfolio, Remote Monitoring Solutions and Nalgene/Nunc/Matrix Storage consumables. Storage and Tracking Products.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor’s Degree; a scientific focus such as Biology, or Chemistry or related field preferred
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience within a laboratory environment.

Experience

  • Experience working in a laboratory with technical instruments preferred, prior experience selling lab equipment strongly preferred
  • Experience in delivering effective technical presentations to scientific researchers and executive level stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and influence others to achieve results.
