This is a Sales Support Specialist role reporting to the Sales Operations Manager in the Business Area - Industrial Automation, Energy industries located in Shanghai, China. You will be responsible to support the Sales organization throughout the proposal process by preparing costs of the applied products and technology, preparing documentation needed for internal process, and serving as a key supporting resource in the assigned area.
Your responsibilities
- Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates to the sales organization.
- Providing information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy.
- Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization.
- Collecting sales data for document handling, data analysis and reporting.
- Maintaining an accessible and organized filing system for sales and administrative professionals.
- Adhering to company guidelines and procedures.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
- Must have a bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years in sales support or sales administration experience.
- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
- Skilled English in listening, reading and writing.
- Demonstrated ability to assist sales teams with any additional work as needed with a can-do attitude.
- A team player with high level of dedication.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.
