Division Specific Information:
The ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD) develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,800 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in vitro allergy testing and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.  The allergy and autoimmunity product lines operate on a common automated instrument platform, Phadia Laboratory Systems, which supports both productivity and cost efficiencies in clinical laboratories around the world.

Do you have a background in clinical diagnostics and experience of working in a sales’ role? Would you like to work with products that can have a real impact on peoples’ lives?
 
Our team is looking for a Sales and Application Specialist, who builds strong relationships, has a passion for sales and knowledge of the diagnostics industry. You will be joining a team of 7 and report to our Sales Manager, Sweden, who is located in Uppsala. You will be supported by 2 senior Application and Account specialists.
 
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing customer accounts in Southeast Sweden and managing all sales and support activities in your accounts. Building strong relationships with customers in the field will be key in this role, as will continuously supporting our customers in their daily use of our products. The role is field based with home office.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Securing renewal of existing and new customer agreements within the Southeast of Sweden (Södermanland, Östergötland, Småland, Blekinge)
  • Tender support
  • Ensuring you are in regular contact with your customers through calls, visits, trouble shooting, as well as supporting with trainings. You will also regularly attend exhibitions and congresses.
  • Support and problem solving for customers
  • Delivering on site trainings to support customers in using our systems
  • Propose, plan, execute, report and effectively follow up sales, as well as application support
 
How will you get here?
  • Has a science or medical degree
  • Has a science degree
  • Has experience from working in a lab, preferably within clinical diagnostics
  • Sales experience is not necessary but can be considered as meritable
  • Experience and knowledge of allergy or auto-immune related products is favored.
  • Is analytical and systematic, thinks strategically
  • Is highly proactive and independent, but also brings energy and ideas to team work.
  • Is a strong network builder who likes to work cross-functionally with colleagues and customers around the world
  • Speaks and writes both English and Swedish fluently
  • Has a drivers license
  • Ideally lives in the Southeast of Sweden, but not a must provided you are willing to travel
