To lead the growth in our successful Middle East & Africa Business, we currently look for a Sales & Business Development Manager who wants to be part of our engaged team, based in Zug, Switzerland. Your new responsibilities Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and areas of growth in close collaboration with our existing partner network, as well as with new partners and customers Plans and ensures sales volumes, customer visits and strategic activities in assigned countries for our Fire Safety, Building Automation and Connected Devices Spots and develop opportunities and prospects in CRM System Acting as a customer ambassador, coordinate all customer-related topics (e.g. technical training, cash collection, etc.) with the relevant support departments Contribute to a smooth cooperation with Siemens local organizations, other units and sales channels by joint, goal-oriented actions Coordinates and negotiates proposals in cooperation with back office and other involved professionals and management Develop high potential customers to be transferred to channel with account-oriented sales approach Your skills and experience Higher education in a technical field, economics, or sales; or equivalent significant experience in sales Able to develop an account business plan to bring all info of customers in one overview With your experience in conducting business in Africa, you are aware of the risks and opportunities in this region Ideally you possess sound knowledge of the building technology businesses (portfolios, sectors, key players), good knowledge on comfort portfolio and a basic knowledge on logistic solutions is a valuable add on With your confident, networking and relationship building personality, you can exercise influence in multicultural environments in an ethical and responsible manner Willingness to travel up to 30 % to your assigned geography (when international travel restrictions do not apply anymore) Languages: English and French language skills are required German on top is nice to have Who and where we are Find out why Siemens is chosen every year as one of the most popular employers in Switzerland, and get a first impression of a new working environment and the people who could be your new work colleagues.
