Job Description

The Supply Chain Information Technology (SCIT) Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team is responsible for providing business solutions to increase the efficacy and efficiency of Intel's planning processes, including product roadmap, demand, supply, inventory, sales/revenue, financial, capital, and pricing planning. The Sales and Operations Planning team is responsible for providing solutions for Intel's strategic planning processes, aligned to Intel's reference architecture. This is an exciting time to join the team as we digitally transform the business processes and solutioning for this critical planning function in close partnership with the business.

This role is the product owner for the central Sales and Operations Planning (SnOP) data hub (data inputs and master data) required for SnOP (e.g. demand, actual results of operations (yield, inventory, TPTs), and financial information (cost and revenue)). Responsibilities include a close partnership with the business and IT teams responsible for SnOP data inputs/data integrity. This includes providing data hub requirements, specifications, and approval of source data records of origin (ROO) and records of reference (ROR).

You'll be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Maximizing the value of the product and the work of the Delivery Team by clearly expressing Product Backlog items; ordering the items to best achieve goals and missions; calculating, measuring, and tracking business value; optimizing the value of the work the Development Team performs; ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Delivery Team will work on next; and ensuring the Delivery Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed
  • Engaging with key stakeholders within and outside the organization, the Delivery Team and Scrum Master to build an exceptional product
  • Effectively captures stakeholder assumptions and translates them into hypothesis-driven outcomes
  • Creates the vision of the product through extensive knowledge of the system or product, business needs, users, market, competitors, and future trends of a particular domain being developed
  • Being knowledgeable of Agile and Scrum practices
  • Creates and prioritizes features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and the product backlog for each sprint
  • Actively engages with the Delivery Team to collaborate, negotiate and commit to product requirements
  • Empowers the Delivery Team to determine workload for each sprint
  • Provides clear direction and flexibility when priorities change based on user needs and requirements
  • Participates in all Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, release-sprint planning, and retrospectives) as required

The candidate should exhibit excellent business partnership and communication skills.


Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
  • 10+ years of IT working experience in configuring and implementing supply chain planning or forecasting software solutions
  • 5+ years of experience with SnOP usage within the semiconductor industry
  • 5+ years of experience with Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) and data quality best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Enterprise Class Planning Solutions (i.e. Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or SAP IBP)
  • Experience in deploying and sustaining enterprise-class planning solutions

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
