Job Description
SDL is looking for a Salesforce developer to join Corporate IT as part of a growing team working on the development of the CRM platform and force.com applications.
As part of the global CRM team, you will be working on projects that support marketing, Sales and operations across 50+ countries and will have to respond to tough challenges as we rapidly grow the strategic value of our sales and customer lifecycle.
Your role will be to deliver new functionality using Apex, visual force and other SFDC related enhancements as required. You will report to a manager in the Maidenhead UK office. This role can be based in the UK, Romania, Ukraine, Poland or India.
Your Responsibilities
· Working in a team on the configuration and development of SFDC Application supporting internal system & process changes
· Understanding business requirements and translating these into technical solutions based primarily on the Force.com platform
· To collaborate with the other developers to design updates and systems that efficiently deliver the required enhancements
· Designing and creating the underlying structure and data flows to support the business including: custom objects/fields; workflows; approval processes; Apex triggers; Visualforce pages; other Force.com features
· Integration with other systems & data manipulation as required
· Some salesforce.com related admin responsibilities such as creating users, profiles, roles, manipulating data
Your Skills
· Ability to quickly understand problems or concepts and turn them into SFDC / Force.com based technical solutions.
· Good understanding of Apex Code, Visualforce, Visual Flow, SOQL & SOAP-based web services
· Over 1.5 half years SFDC / Force.com experience including environments such as Eclipse (Force.com IDE)
· Exposure to full SFDC lifecycle implementation
· Experience working in an Agile environment and prototyping on functional requirements.
· Expert knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and approaches
· Understanding of relational databases and data modelling
· Positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation are all essential
· Excellent written and spoken English.
· Certified Force.com Advanced Developer (or over 2 years programming experience on Java, C#, ASP.Net MVC architecture)
