The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
- Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
- Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
- Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
- Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
- Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Job Purpose:Citi is seeking highly motivated Salesforce developer for an Apps Dev Intermediate Programmer Analyst position in Client Technology within ISG. This is a permanent role based in Tampa, Florida.Job Background/context:The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying solutions for the Investment Bankers. In addition to standard SFDC configuration, the SSFDC developer will be responsible for developing solutions that will leverage HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Java, and other technologies. The SFDC developer will be responsible for the customization and configuration of standard and custom components required to meet business requirements in a very high quality. The SFDC Developer must be able to communicate well with business stakeholders globally as well as with team members.Key Responsibilities:
- Interaction with stakeholders to understand the business requirements
- Build new functionalities and implement improvements in SFDC application
- Provide support to business stakeholders as well as work with L2 support in investigating and fixing SFDC application issues
- Build and support configuration tasks, including data cleaning and data import jobs
- Implementation change control from development sandboxes to production and across the development lifecycle. Ensure that all necessary changes are documented, reviewed, tested, and approved before being deployed
- Develop Lightning and Visualforce pages, apex classes, triggers, visual work flow, and process builder, create reports and dashboards
- Maintain high security standards for all data stored in Salesforce.com
- Remain current on new Salesforce features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and work through data related inquiries and issues
- Be able to work independently as well as within a team
- Follow agile process, prepare technical design documents

- 3+ years of experience in Software Development
- 2+ years of Hands-on experience withSalesforce.com, with proficiency in Apex programming, Visualforce, and SOQL, and understanding of SFDC Profiles, Roles, permission sets and Sharing Rules, Validation Rules, Tasks, Workflow rules, and Triggers, etc.
- At least 1 or 2 Full Life Cycle Implementations of SFDC solution
- Experience with SFDC administrative tools such as managing users, data management, generating reports, dashboards and communication templates
- Good understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in developing, testing and deploying custom fields/objects, forms, workflows, interfaces, records, and user roles to meet business requirements
- SFDC development, customization and administration
- Apex programming, Visualforce, and Apex Data loader
- Must have ability to develop quality solution with focus on Unit Testing
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with mentality of “BE THE BEST FOR OUR CLIENTS”
- Experience in working with lightning is a plus
- Must have ability to work under high pressure
- Must have Salesforce Developer and Admin certifications
- Able to work with team as well as independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience of working in Financial Industry is a plus
- Experience of using Eclipse for development and using ANT/ANT Migration tool for deployment will be preferred
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Experience with Java, Microsoft .Net, C#, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery, CSS is a plus.
- Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with customers and team members in a professional manner
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify creative ways to achieve solutions
