The role:
The Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for managing education services staff's working schedules to maximize student satisfaction and minimize the cost of teachers and classrooms.
Supervision:
Reports directly to Regional Scheduling Supervisor. This position has a strong liaison and support role with all teams in the center.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collect scheduling needs from centers and central departments and propose scheduling plans accordingly to decision makers.
- Schedule full-time and part-time teachers' working hours for multiple centers.
- Publish schedules in the system and distribute to all internal stakeholders.
- Rearrange schedules and effectively communicate changes to all stakeholders so as to cover schedule in emergencies.
- Coordinate with other departments to better utilize resources across centers, such as lending/borrowing teachers and classrooms.
- Optimize scheduling by analyzing operational data and provide data support to centers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree, major in economics, business, statistics, mathematics and logistics preferred.
- 1+ years of working experience, analysis or business experience preferred.
- Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Proficient oral and written English competency, can communicate confidently and fluently with international staff.
- Detail-oriented, logical, patient, well-organized and independent.
- Able to work on flexible working shifts (work during weekends if required).
- Able to commute to multiple work locations.
