Scholar Tree is a K-6 English language academy founded to mentor and prepare young scholars to maximize their interests and passions in academics and beyond. We emphasize the importance of developing oral and written communication skills through exploring interdisciplinary studies. Science, social studies, technology, engineering, arts, language, math and management are all essential topic areas integrated in our STEAM inspired curriculum. The educational experience of our teachers complements the carefully designed curriculum and technological support systems to provide our student and parent communities with a prominent experience in quality education and service. Scholar Tree Curriculum Development Writer

Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Develop, write and teach curriculum content and teacher materials

* Test and evaluate potential curriculum content

* Create assessments for the curriculum content

* Research new curriculum options

* Assist in structuring the syllabus and lesson contents

* Occasionally teach classes of at least 6-8 students/class

Requirements:

* 2+ years experience in writing English content

* English Native-level reading, writing, listening and speaking

* At least a bachelor’s degree from a major accredited university

* Highly motivated to learn and be trained

* Enjoys writing about a variety of subject topics

* Teaching Experience with kindergarten and/or elementary students preferred

* Fluency in Mandarin preferred

* Compensation: 16000-22000 RMB/month

* Typical work: 40-50 hours/week
