Responsibilities:

• Provide healthcare to students and staff
• Serve as liaisons between school personnel, families, and Department of Health to ensure a healthy school environment
• Provide health-related education to students and staff in both individual and group settings
• Monitor immunizations and managing communicable diseases
• Advice on infection control measures
• Administer medical documentation

Requirements:

• Registered or registerable with the Hong Kong Nursing Board
• Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience
• Fluency in English and Putonghua and ability to work in an English speaking environment
• Ability to function independently
• Ability to give talks/demonstrations to students and staff on subjects on health
• Relevant training in pediatrics and child health and prior experience as a school nurse would be advantageous
• Computer literate
