Job Purpose:

To assist Science teachers in preparing science laboratory and lesson materials, assisting students in completing their work as needed, filling in purchase orders to replenish teaching supplies as necessary.

Duties:

• Prepare and set up classroom before commencement of class.
• Maintain each apparatus, tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Inventory lesson materials, fill in purchase orders to replenish them as necessary.
• Assist Science Teachers in preparation of teaching and instructional materials, including but not limited to Audio Visual aids, Chemicals, Raw Materials, Tools, Equipment, Live Specimen etc.
• Assist teachers in carrying out experiments.
• Clean apparatus and work with cleaning staff to ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment.
• Assist in maintaining live specimens, animals and plants including feeding, cleaning and daily upkeep.
• Participate in classroom demonstration and instruction as required by Science Teachers.
• Any other duties as assigned by Science Teachers.
  

Skills/qualifications:

• At least Bachelor degree in any Natural Science areas.
• CET 6, must be able to hold a comfortable conversation in English.
• Detailed-oriented with and disciplined in time management.
• Relevant certification and experience in first aid is a plus.
• Warm, outgoing, good interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about international education.
