DONGGUAN (GUANGDONG) LOOKING FOR - SCIENCE / MATH TEACHERS
(Junior or Senior High)
STARTING DATE: 20 AUGUST 2022
SCHOOL DESCRIPTION
In 2012, The International Department of the School was established and
authorized by the Dongguan Education Bureau to offer bilingual and international courses delivered by highly professional educators from China and abroad. In 2017, the School was awarded “Dongguan's Most Popular International Educational Institution”. Currently the elementary and middle school departments offer bilingual courses to pupils with IB and Cambridge framework, while the high school focuses on international programmes including ACT, A-Level, Aviation and Dual-Diploma, all with the goal of sending students to
the best Universities in the World.
English, Math, Science, IT etc. are taught by both international and local teachers. Our international teaching team is diverse, boasting 12 different nationalities.
We are a rapidly growing school, therefore need open-minded and experienced teachers to join our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Working as Math/Science (EAL) Teacher within the A Level or GAC context.
• Develop lesson plans and learning engagements in line with Cambridge/GAC philosophies and our own curriculum objectives.
• Work collaboratively with homeroom, single subject and other support teachers to help students develop holistically.
• Develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the needs of the whole range of abilities.
• Support and engage students to take part in additional activities (International Day, CCTV Speaking competitions, sports day, football tournaments, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
• Commitment to the holistic education of students.
• Care, patience, perseverance and positivity.
• Cambridge/GAC experience is ideal but not essential.
HOLIDAYS
• Chinese Spring festival (around 3-4 weeks), summer vacation (around 7 weeks), October holiday (1 week), and other national holidays.
PACKAGE

OTHER
• Recruitment for school year 2020/2021; teachers required to attend training in the last week of August 2020.
