Science Tutor, Shenzhen, China
Our client was founded in 2003 with the aim of helping Chinese students gain entry into the most reputable schools in the UK. They now have offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Changzhou and London with several more planned.
To further support students in their preparation to study in top UK and US schools, they offer classes in several subjects taught by talented and experienced tutors familiar with the British and American education high school curriculum, who not only build students’ confidence in speaking and communicating and learning in English but also provide guidance on exams and interviews as well.
As a result of their continued growth, they are looking for nine science tutors for their centres in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
As the science tutor, Shenzhen centre, you will teach one on one the British Education system namely IGCSE and A-Level and / or International study abroad exam training for example SSAT, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS.
To be a successful Science tutor, you need the following:
- bachelor or advanced degree in the relevant subject,
- teaching related degree, or if not at least a CELTA, TEFL, TESOL etc.
- knowledge of IGCSE, or A-Level syllabuses in science subjects, i.e. Physics, chemistry or biology
- native English-speaking ability
- minimum 2 years previous full-time teaching experience, schoolteacher preferred
In return you will teach high achieving students, have no classroom management issues and earn between 240,000 - 310,000 CNY plus overtime if you wish (25 times more per student than a traditional classroom teacher as classes will be one on one); housing allowance, health insurance, up to 10,000 CNY flight reimbursement, 21 days holiday, and end of year bonus.
