We are currently looking for a Scientific Communications Manager based in Barcelona willing to be part of a medical high-performing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out information and medical/scientific communication activities, including:
Intake, processing, and responding to external and internal Medical information inquiries in compliance with regulations and company SOPs/guidelines
Delivers medical-scientific training and information to internal clients
Reviews promotional and non-promotional materials.
Creates local scientific materials as needed
Participates in planning and implementation of scientific/educational events.
Supports planning and generation of digital channel Medical activities in the assigned area
Creates the local publishing plan
Qualifications & Knowledge:
PhD in a life science, Pharm D, MD or MSc with substantial additional biomedical background
Broad scientific knowledge
Broad knowledge of regulatory / safety / legal requirements and implications of Medical Communication and Medical
Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English
Experience
Minimum 2 years of professional experience (preferred 4 years), preferably in biotech/pharm. industry
Experience in medical affairs and with international exposure
Experience with interpretation of clinical trials and pre-clinical data
Experience in generation of science-based materials.
