Department of Biology

The appointees are expected to assist in teaching and demonstrations in practical classes, provide technical support to teaching staff, maintain and operate a range of environmental instruments, and undertake related administrative duties.

Applicants should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Agriculture, or Environmental Science, with specialty in soil science or microbial ecology. Practical experience in greenhouse and farm operations is an advantage.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
