Department of Physics

The appointee is expected to take up a wide scope of duties, such as:

(a) assisting in laboratory demonstrations, development, and management;

(b) conducting tutorials, grading of coursework and supervising students;

(c) supporting faculty research and operating equipment in the central facilities such as the Surface and Materials Characterization Lab; and

(d) providing administrative and IT support and performing any other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Materials Science or a related field with relevant work experience.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years.  Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
