Job Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory specific methods on raw materials or finished products, media making, special projects or specified testing as directed
• Set up and maintain microbiological cultures
• Perform routine lab maintenance
• Stock lab (media and lab supplies)
• Clean lab (daily, weekly, deep cleans) and discard expired media
• Maintain log books
• Read and complete documentation of work through data recording and/or electronic note booking
• Application of routine / non-routine microbiological test methods (e.g. MIC, Challenge tests, Method Validation, antibacterial efficacy testing)
• Communicate immediately problems or unexpected results / anomalies with R&D personnel and Laboratory Lead
