Job Description:
you will join quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) R&D team in Vilnius as a scientist. You will work within international and interdisciplinary project teams to develop, commercialize and support qPCR and molecular biology products.

What will you do:

• Develop new qPCR and RT-qPCR products for scientific and diagnostic applications
• Transfer newly developed products from R&D to manufacturing
• Work with operations team to ensure timely product delivery to customers
• Investigate customer complaints
• Improve existing products, related processes and technologies

Preferable skills and attributes:

• MS or PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering or related field
• Working experience in laboratory (min 5 years)
• Intimate knowledge of molecular biology, qPCR is highly desirable
• Experience with technical data analysis software and genome/transcriptome databases
• Experience in planning and executing molecular biology experiments with minimal supervision
• Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Intrinsically motivated, accountable and committed to professional development
• Knowledge of ISO 13845 and GMP standards is highly desirable
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• The flexibility of evening schedule at least one day a week to take phone calls with US colleagues
• Good writing and oral presentation skills
• Fluent English
