How will you make an impact?
 
In this key role, you will conduct routine chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials by internally developed and/or compendial test methods for purity, impurity.
 
What will you do?
 
 
 
  • Utilize pH, FTIR, Osmoality, Raman, TOC, Conductivity, Specific Rotation, Karl Fisher, auto titrations, and/or traditional wet chemistry methods.
  • Recognize and report out-of-specification or unexpected results and non-routine analytical and product problems.
  • Perform daily instrument calibrations/verifications as required.
  • Clearly and accurately communicate the results of work by creating documentation of the testing/analysis and obtained results
  • Record and report results of analysis in accordance with prescribed lab procedures and systems.
  • Contribute to writing SOPs if needed.
  • Clean and organize work area instrumentation and testing materials.
  • Perform all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Safety guidelines.
  • Maintain the necessary compliance status required by company and facility standards.
 
 
 
How will you get here?
 
 
 
Degree in Chemistry is required
 
 
 
 
Experience testing to USP – Required
 
 
  • GMP  and Wet Chemistry experience is required
  • Experience testing to USP is required.
  • Experience with CAPAs, laboratory investigations, generating SOP’s
  • Laboratory leadership experience a plus
  • Experience testing to EP, JP, is preferred.
  • Experience writing specifications similar to compendial monographs is  preferred
