Job Description

This is an exciting time to be at Intel. Come join Intel 3D NAND Technology and Manufacturing (NAND-DTM) Group as a Product Development Engineer and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world!

As a Non-Volatile Memory Device and Scribe Integration engineers are responsible for:

  • Create and define leading-edge memory die and scribe parametric structures.
  • Contribute to defining process and scribe device architectures, and technology collaterals.
  • Die design, scribe design, and CMOS and array device groups.
  • DF2, Cadence, K2View, Vcats, to develop and debug the rules.
  • ICAD to debug the rules and come up with sanity checks to understand the interaction with various mask and base layers.

An ideal candidate would also display the following:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

This position is in the NAND-DTM Group which is aligned to phase 2 of the sale of the NAND business to Solidigm, a wholly owned subsidiary of SK hynix. Employees in this business group will work on developing NAND technology and components.  Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm.  Solidigm, a leading global supplier of NAND flash memory solutions, is headquartered in San Jose, California with offices worldwide.


Qualifications

The candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer or Electrical Engineering and 6 years of experience in relevant semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including the following:

  • ASIC design, layout, memory design, memory layouts, CAD tools, and software, in particular DF2, K2view, and Hercules.
  • Device physics and parametric analysis.
  • Layout and design methodologies.
  • NAND.
  • Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Tape-out, OPC, and Mask Generation Flow for High volume manufacturing.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Automated testers and Python scripting.
  • Experience with Other NVM memory.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$113,210.00-$187,350.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
